This is a great program for persons seeking to kick-start a fitness program.  Walking is one of the easiest and least expensive forms of exercise. All you need is a good pair of walking shoes, comfortable clothing, and the motivation to walk.

This 4 – week program offers participants the opportunity to get outside and devote one-hour of the day totally to themselves.  The program is progressive whereby we start out slow and increase the intensity or duration of the walk each week.

Participating in a group walk program enables you to meet new friends, share your challenges and successes while learning new strategies for adopting a healthier lifestyle.

The program is fun and suited for all fitness levels and ages.

Each walk will comprise of the following components:

Warm-up
Stretching
Walking
Light strength training (using free weights or exercise bands)**
